Ollie Barlow

Funeral services for Ollie Barlow, 92, will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent. Officiating the service will be Reverend Tom Brown. A visitation will be held Friday, March 12, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Ollie was born on December 27, 1928 to John Robert and Dorothy Barlow in Pelican, Louisiana and left this world to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 5, 2021 in Bossier City, Louisiana. He met his beloved wife, Louise, and they were married December 26, 1959. Ollie was a supervisor for many years and retired from the Termite Department of Anti-Pest. He left the business to retire at home in Shreveport and become active in his Masonic Lodge Joppa, where he was a lifetime member. He remained in a close relationship with his siblings throughout his life. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Louise Barlow; daughter, Dolores Price and granddaughters, Pam and Lawan. He is survived by his grandchildren, Sheila Mc Donald, Dell Hindsman, William Sparkman, and Denise Bennett; special nephew, Marlin Barlow; special niece, Sandra Woodward; 12 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
