Onetha Jones

Onetha Norrid Jones was born October 21, 1922 and passed away, Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the age of 98. Onetha was married to J.P. \" Casey\" Jones and was a beautician for many years. She was a member of Woodbridge Baptist Church in Shreveport. She was a strong Christian and loved listening to Jimmy Swaggart on TV daily. She enjoyed visiting and talking on the phone with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, 5 sisters, and 2 brothers. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service honoring Onetha will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Holley Springs Methodist Church with burial to follow at Holley Springs Cemetery, 1019 Hwy 786, Coushatta, LA 71079. Honoring Onetha as pallbearers will be her nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made in her name to Woodbridge Baptist Church, 850 East Bert Kouns, Shreveport, LA 71106.
