Graveside services honoring the life of Rayellen Stacy Dry will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Stanley, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be John C. Dry. Rayellen was born on May 3, 1928, in Dallas, Texas to Thomas Dillard Stacy and Bonnie Raye Batts Stacy. She entered into eternal rest on May 9, 2021, in Zachary, Louisiana. Rayellen was a very accomplished artist, having sold many originals, prints, and commissioned pieces. Her artistry flowed into her cooking also. She was widely known for her culinary skill. She enjoyed making jams and jellies which she sold while running the family peach orchard. Rayellen was active in attending church and was a choir member for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and the game of Bridge with good friends. She showered love on her family, friends, and acquaintances. Preceding Rayellen are her parents; husband, Clifton Dry; granddaughter, Jaden Dry; son-in-law, Ben Barham; sisters, Lillian Neiderhofer, Dru Latimer, and Dora Martin; brother, Donnie Stacy. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Barham of Greenwood, MS; sons, Dan Dry and wife Susan of Waynesville, NC and John Dry and wife Trish Dry of Zachary, LA; sister, Maxie Raney of TX; grandchildren, Dustin Cochran, Stacy Walker, Lydia Acey and husband Justin, Shelbi Wambles and husband Matt, Emma Dry, and Grace Dry; great-grandchildren, Alley and Anna Kate Cochran, Peyton and Rebecca Walker, Logan Hodges, Arrielee, Lilly-Grace, and Etta Acey, and Elliot Wambles.
