Becky was born on December 8, 1954 in Pine Bluff, AR, and died on Thursday, April 15, 2021 in Lockhart, TX, after a brief illness. She was raised in south Shreveport and graduated from Captain Shreve High School in 1973. She worked for a few years in the late 70\'s and early 80\'s as a surgical nurse and she was very proud of that work. She then decided that in order to serve her family best that she should become a full-time mom and wife and so that\'s what she did. Indeed, she loved all of her extensive family very much and was very proud of every one of them! Becky was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Craig Scott Walters; her parents, Col. Bud & Barbara Birmingham; as well as her sister, Donna Ann DeBaker; and nephew, Robert Barney. Becky is survived by her two sons, Robert Leighton LaBorde and Winston Craig Walters; granddaughter, Evelyn Marianne LaBorde; daughter-in-law, Kelsey LaBorde; brothers, Sam Birmingham and Robert "Bubba" Birmingham; sister, Marion Gill; sisters-in-law, Lisa Birmingham and Karen Birmingham; nieces, Heather Birmingham, Jennifer Lee and Elise Birmingham; nephews, Eric Barney, Michael Gill and Adler Birmingham; great-nieces, Lisbet, Celest, Marlie and Lily; and great-nephews, Pierce, Julian and Cash. Becky was a kind soul who touched many lives human, feline and canine alike. She will always be fondly remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know her. She loved her family and especially loved her new granddaughter. She had a generous and loving heart and always put others first. The world is a better place for her having lived in it! Becky was always very caring towards her feline and canine friends. Memorials in her name may be made to Austin Pets Alive, 1156 West Cesar Chavez, Austin, TX 78703 or any similar charity of the donator\'s wishes.
