Burial will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath South. Officiating the service will be Mickey McDaniel and Ron McDaniel. Virginia Ruth Stone McDaniel, known as Ginny, was born on October 13, 1936 and went to be with Christ her Lord on March 22, 2021. She was 84 years old and slept in her own bed the night before the Lord took her home. She was born in Independence, Missouri, the daughter of Claude Gibson Stone and Virginia Kissee Stone. On November 22, 1957, she married Russell B. McDaniel of Kansas City who has been her constant companion until her death, and her caregiver for the past 15 years. She claimed no goodness of her own, but instead claimed the righteousness of Christ alone through faith alone. She was smart, creative, funny, and loyal. Though her body wore down from sickness and old age, her mind was sharp, her wit was quick, and her spirit still bears the mark of salvation which will endure throughout all time by the grace of Almighty God. She gave birth to two sons, Ron McDaniel of Gravette, Arkansas, and Mickey McDaniel who lives locally. Both of them are grateful for her long suffering, her example of prayer and Bible study, and her love that extends beyond the grave. Her grandchildren still remember the day, not so long ago, when she survived the ride down the five story high Bonzai water slide at Watertown. She is survived by her husband Russ; her brother Claude Stone and wife Kay; her sister Anna Louise Simmons; first born Ron and wife Nancy; second born Mickey and wife Colleen; grandchildren Michelle Bohannon and husband Kelby, Nikki Klinger and husband Chad, Eli McDaniel and wife Mary, Olivia Robinson and husband John-Michael, Chay McDaniel and wife Destiny, and Levi McDaniel; and great-grandchildren Brody, Bryor, Mesa, Klae, Jude, Bentley, John-Luke, and Laece. Honoring Ginny as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
