Vivian was born on April 13, 1933 to Charlie Patterson Smallwood and Bertha Leona Jacob Smallwood in Tupelo, Mississippi and passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Vivian was a resident of Haughton, Louisiana, a mother and a homemaker. She enjoyed going to the boats just to eat the buffet, haha! She was an amazing woman! She kept everyone in line, and if you got out-of-line, she would be the first to tell you so. She loved her large family, doing crossword puzzles and fishing. She went to school with Elvis Presley in Tupelo, Mississippi which made her a die-hard Elvis fan her entire life. She loved collecting owls, and bellyaching at Daril, like she did with Ray. Her favorite saying was, ”If I can’t pick on you or at you, then I don’t like you!”
Vivian is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reecie Ray Robinson, Sr.; daughter, Vivian Nanette McCart; son, Gary Dell Robinson, Sr.; and three brothers. Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Samuel Smallwood; two sisters, Patsy Brooks and Charlene Harrison; her sons, Reecie Ray Robinson, Jr., and Daril Thomas Robinson; daughters, Sharon Delaine Stroble, and Abby Jo Hammett and husband, Larry; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Honoring Vivian as pallbearers will be Reecie Ray, Jr., Daril Lee Robinson, Gary Leon Robinson, Johnny Robinson, Gary Dell Robinson, Jr., and Chris I. Milner. Honorary pallbearer will be Daril Thomas Robinson.
